In the 1930's it was owned by the Dauncey family trading under the name of Blossomfields. Over the years the establshment has grown from 2 to 6 houses as it is now.

Daunceys Hotel has grown from small family roots into one the top hotels in Weston-super-Mare.

For nearly half a century Daunceys Hotel has been in the capable hands of the Hunt family. In this time Daunceys has built up a reputation as a friendly relaxing place to enjoy a break, and a place for all to enjoy the best that Weston-super-Mare has to offer.

More recently, Daunceys has been taken over by Grand UK Hotels who intend to carry on in same Daunceys tradition of fine quality and service.
